Enjoyed reading the replies...as opposed to the usual dribble and one liners.....

A few comments, and then on to another topic....

I agree wholeheartedly on the comment about "fluidness".....

I think my point with our Green Zone ineffectiveness in the second half of the season (I don't have stats, but would love to see the numbers over the last 10 years) is that I feel we generally try to stick to what "works" for us too much....basically saying, we know this works for us, you know this works for us, and we are going to do it anyway.  I don't know how many times I have seen that easy little TE release play work for a team on first or second down inside the three yard line.....I just wish we had a little "Sean Peyton" in our play calling down in the Green Zone on occasion.....no end arounds...trust me...lol.

Also agree with the assessment of Eli vs Simms in cold weather.....I'm not sure Simms started out as a great cold weather / wind QB, but there is no question that mentally he turned into one....I hold out the same hope for Eli.....

1.  I now live in Tampa, FL.  I've been here a little more than 2.5 years, and wish I would have made the move 25 years ago.  My Dad was Navy, so we made the obligatory move every two years or so.  Most of my youth was spent in redskins territory...Va Beach, and near DC.

2.  I've been a NY GIANTS fan since I can remember.  My parents are both from Staten Island, and most of my relatives are Jets fans....given my disposition, pulling for the GIANTS was a no brainer.  I'm 45 now, so I've been a fan since at least the late 60's.....obviously the 70's were tough, especially considering my best friend was a cowboys fan...ouch

3.  I'm currently an IT Manager for a company in Largo, FL that focuses on risk analysis and policy management for insurance companies.  My background is in Marketing, but about 5 years ago I decided to go into the IT world.  I'm currently half way through obtaining my MCSE certification, and am not sure which direction I'll head after that...loving life in the IT world...good stuff.

4.  Up until now, I've been terminally single.....45, never been married...no jokes or questions please...lol.  Now that I'm in FL, and after I get a bit more stabilized in the new career, I'll be ready for that "Rest of My Life" lady....somehow my love for sports, and in particular, the GIANTS, has been a little stumbling block in my previous relationships....

Of course, my taste in women may have something to do with that....last two significant others have been a 'boys fan and a 'skins fan....not good.

Here is a question that has been bugging me for the last 6 or 7 years....

I'm looking at the offensive side of the ball, but the question can be asked of the defense also....

Does anyone know if NFL teams purposely design games plans in the beginning of the season to "offset" game plans they may use during the second half of the season?  In other words, hold something back that they think they can use for the second half of the season, instead of showing it early.

I suspect the answer is "NO", that every NFL teams tries to figure out what they do best, and goes with it from the beginning of the season.  And as other teams adjust to what they are doing, they try to adjust their offense.

I ask this because it seems that every single year, the GIANTS offense seems to slow down in the second half of the season, especially in the GREEN zone.  It's like all the other teams know what we are going to do....

Now I'll admit, last year's run was a little different, but I'm looking at the last 6 or 7 years....

I'd like to get your thoughts....

Agreed.  Technology for it is here....just need the $$$$$'s to add up.......hopefully soon.

Very good stuff for the "relatively" knowledgable fan to read....simple, and easy to understand.

I can't wait for day when we'll be able to pick and choose which camera angle to watch the game in.....I think I'll be going with a lot more endzone views...to be able to see the Defenses, and what "holes" are available to the Offenses.....

I've had that chance with a couple of college games, and it's been great...
