I can't think of many publications that have changed more (for the worse) from when I was a kid/young adult in the 80s and 90s to today, as far as ones that have existed that whole time.

 I still have that cover of Emerson Walls, hanging in my basement. It was a collector's piece when it was out, at least for Giants fans.

They could have waited until February and after the swimsuit edition came out.  :o  :o  :o

Even the Swimsuit issue, which let's face it was a big part of their identity, went dramatically downhill.
