Just a wild guess, but I suspect Rex is done coaching. He looks like he enjoys the studio life now. It's probably significantly more money and it's much easier. I think once you've done a certain amount of time in those TV jobs, it's hard to work up the drive to want to return to what is sure to be multiples more hours a week and most likely less pay. Look at guys like Bill Cowher. He was a really good coach, and he quit pretty young.
