Thanks for setting up the mastodon account.  I haven't been on twitter for a long time, even before Musk took over.  I've never liked how discussions become over there.  And I believe in open source software so support it where I can.

I was thinking of watching that. Haven't decided though.

Last night I watched a couple of things.

First, The Great Hack on Netflix. It's a documentary, and a good one at that. It attempts to give the viewer and idea as to the extent of the Cambridge Analytics data mining on millions of the people in the US, and others all over the world. It is not a documentary about Donald Trump as some believed. They talk about a few campaigns. It's scary stuff, really.

After that, I watched a TED talk from Carole Cadwalladr on Facebook's role in Brexit. Really crazy stuff.

I recommend both to everyone.

I have a movie recommendation.

I am Mother on Netflix.

A Sci-Fi movie, I was pleasantly surprised. For some reason I didn't have high hopes but was pleasantly surprised. It follows a teenage girl raised by A robot in a post apocalyptic world. It does let you in on a secret a bit early, but that doesn't really detract from it. It kept the suspense up really well throughout the movie. I would give it a solid 7 out of 10.

I grew up just north of Albany, NY in Saratoga county. Then moved to NYC for work, and then moved again to Kentucky. I live in Louisville now. Not many Giants fans here. Though I did find one in the building I work in, so I can talk to him now and again. Unfortunately, right outside my office are two Cowboy fans. :/

I second Jims Welcome Bob. Good to have you here.

This is just a great spot to talk Giants football without any of the garbage that goes with many other sites like this. Obviously, this is a slow time of year for all football fans, but we chug thru, but wait until the season gets going, this place rocks.

Hope to see and hear more from you.
Apologies for the late reply. I appreciate the welcome. I actually joined to get a fix of football during the off season. ;-)

1)  What part of the Country do you live in? Currently I live in the Bronx, NY. I grew up in Saratoga county.

2)  How long have you been a Giants fan?
I was born a Giants fan, though I didn't watch football for most of my life. My family with the exception of 2 of my brothers were all NYG fans. So I rooted for them in passing.

Then 2007 came. I started watching the last few games of the regular season through the Superbowl run. I was hooked. The excitement was too much to ignore.

Since then, I get more and more into football every season. It's to the point that if there is football on TV, I watch it.

3)  What do you do for a living?
I work for United Tote. I'm currently station at the NYRA tracks. That will change after this summer though.

4) Anything else you would like to mention about yourself?
I love to play video games in my spare time. I also like outdoors in the summer. I guess that's it. Have a nice day!
