Patty nails it with this recap. Dropped passes, a turnstile of an Offensive Line, lousy play calling, abandoning the run in the second half, no pass rush, poor coverage and I'll add hesitation by the rookie QB. Just a total team letdown.

I have to pin a good portion of this season's woes on GM Joe Schoen for repeating the mistakes of his predecessors with the lack of quality Olinemen and Oline Depth. Totally derailed the Offense and the QBs. How do you spend an average of $40 million a year on a franchise QB and not afford him the protection and Run blocking to get the job done? Pugh is shot, Ezu, Peart, Glowinski, McKethan and Bredeson can't be back next season. They better determine early on if they even want to carry Evan Neal. And if they don't fire the Offensive Line Coach the day the season is over, then there are deeper problems than all of the above. Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes wouldn't be able to function behind that clusterfuck. Draft a QB? For what? To break him like they did Jones?

Did not pass go, did not collect $200.

I actually took the Giants in my pools. I was thinking about going with the Jets because of Miami's Oline woes and Tyreek's health but I chickened out.

I felt bad for Jake Fromm with that dysfunctional coaching staff and abysmal Oline. I think he would have had some success under Daboll.

Have you watched any of the spinoffs? I haven't but I was surfing and saw Daryl was in France and Maggie and Negan in NYC.

Basically, if you looked at his career and decided to use his 2019 and 2020 seasons as your baseline expectation for him, rather than his 2021 and 2022 seasons, then yes, you'd be disappointed. But clearly that wouldn't have been very logical.

We got what we paid for with Waller, simple as that. He has not disappointed if your expectations were realistic. He is what he is at this point.

Do you remember the thread poll on who would have the most yards and TD's? As I recall Waller was at the top. Some predicted he would have over 1000 yards. I think I voted for Slayton. But Waller after being out so many games is still a fairly close second in yards and in receptions. His problem as you know has been availability. I actually think he can have a lot of success with TD.

The one player who if played up to expectations would have changed the season is Daniel Jones. I have to ask myself if Jones would have won the last three games and I can't say yes for certainty.
