If I were him, I would not play the rest of this year. It's tough to be a walk-on even with his experience and he takes a chance of looking bad. It's not like it's a trade where he was involved and playing. Take the year off and come back with a fresh perspective. 

I they sign Wentz for the remainder of this year, do you think he will want at least a 2 year contract with a salary commensurate to what TT was getting? Then what happens? If he plays well and the Giants win a few games which drops them out of range for their preferred QB, it becomes a QB controversy against Jones. If he doesn't play well they are stuck with him and Tommy or another young arm does not get developed.

Not bringing in a decent Veteran QB is a sign to me that they are drafting a QB and possibly grooming Danny as a future backup. 

In the end, they will go to jail.

Hyatt was wide open halfway down the field and DJ missed the opportunity and lofted the ball so the coverage caught up. Plus it was a bad pass and not on Hyatt. The game call and coverage for the Giants has been atrocious and this is what you get with two crappy teams.

A turnover by Hyatt, a drop by Slayton and Hodgins, and his stats would have been comparable to O'Connell. He has a lot to learn and he's probably never going to be a starting QB in this league but it's interesting that Daboll sees something in him to keep him.

I would think that he starts against Dallas because Barkley would get sacked 12 times against that pass rush. Unfortunately for Tommy. It's pretty clear the kid is still learning and a work in progress. I think Schoen should bring in another PS QB. Just in case. 

This may have been a blessing in disguise for Daniel Jones. His passes were so badly off, that I wonder if he wasn't fully recovered. Necks and Spines are not to be messed with. Tommy DeVito took a couple of hits that may have had catastrophic effects on DJ. I don't know if that medical staff can be trusted.

I always think back to Ron Dixon when someone plays on an ACL. Hopefully, for DJ there wasn't any extensive damage that will end his career.

A tough way to go out and he has to be very frustrated. I'm sure he will do everything he can to rehab and get back on the team ASAP. He's a tough kid and a credit to the organization as a leader and gentleman.
