I've heard good things about "Morning Show", but never gave it a chance because the genre seemed uninteresting to me and the combination of Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Steve Carell seemed a little eclectic and not up my ally. I like Aniston, and I like Witherspoon, but the two together seems too odd to fuseWe are up to date on all the episodes. We like the show but it does have its ups and downs. As for Apple TV, they just raised their subscription price from $6.99 to $9.99. Not that the three bucks will break me but it's a 43% increase. I think ten bucks is still a good value but this is the only show I'm watching on it right now. My gun range recently raised my premium membership 60% and they didn't raise the walk-in range rental price, which annoyed me so I canceled my membership. Too many businesses are taking advantage of inflation in my opinion and in some cases raising prices to make more profit. Rant over.
Anyway, I gave it a shot and got hooked. Binged the first 4 episodes and I like it a lot. It reminds me a little of "Suits", only instead of a law firm scheme, it's a journalism company scheme. Backstabbing, lying, betrayal, power struggle, sex, etc. Aniston is the "old pro" that has carried the show for years, is cranky, very serious, and on the verge of a mental breakdown, Witherspoon a foulmouthed, trailer trash, unprofessional, hick from down south, and Carell a sexual predator. Supporting cast has recognizable, experienced actors that I'd think are phenomenal
