Big Blue Huddle / Re: Should the Giants cut Waller?

I'd keep him at half that price.  If not. The money would be of much better use on the o line

Big Blue Huddle / Re: What do we want in the Draft?

Unfortunately,  QB is #1 priority.  I agree with Dave. I'll pay the price to get the right one.
It pains me we are still working on the O line.   I'd like a quality FA and top 3 rd pick as well.
There are more needs, but those are a must in my view to not waste another season.

Big Blue Huddle / Re: Evan Neal's injury

Does this soften the criticism for his poor play this year? I would think FA or the draft has to see real competition at RT.  Im hoping he transitions to guard.

Four o-lineman as goats. That sums up the season. Ozeez seemed to be very passive / lethargic in a few plays I watched close.

Thanks for the update Rich.  I think Jclay mentioned him before as well.  It would be nice to pick top 6 with 4 solid QBs in play.

Big Blue Huddle / Re: Is ORT A Position Of Need?

Quote from: Jclayton92 on December 22, 2023, 04:57:44 PMThe issue with Neal is technique. The organization knew they were getting a monster of a man with feet issues and occasional issues with speed rushers when they drafted him. Instead of catering to what Neal did well at Alabama, Johnson had him learn a completely different technique his rookie season to what he did his entire college career. Then when that didn't work, Johnson and coaches had Neal try a completely different technique this past offseason, and while he was progressing in games this season it wasn't at a fast enough rate. Johnson is almost exclusively responsible for destroying the kid so far and his lazy coaching to have all their guys do something a specific way  because its easier to coach, instead of adapting to what his players did extremely well and using that.

Look at tape from Neal in college vs Neal now, his technique is in shambles because of Johnson. It's why the oline is so bad and why not one person has gotten better under him.

They should be using Neal like Orlando Brown Jr or Trent Williams, instead Johnsons just getting a check and ruining our line... So yes Neal has not played well, but whose fault is that really? Obviously a little on him but man kid was dominant for years, and suddenly can't play at all? That's fundamentals and coaching.

I believe there's much merit in this post. To pile on, Dab's has responsibility to have the right staff on hand.

I was hoping (though not confident) that his rookie year was just a rough start to the NFL and that he'd improve this year. Instead he has continued to stink, he has continued to be brittle, and he totally insulted the fans. Just an all-around disaster.

For sure. We still don't know what this high resource value is going forward to help out weakest unit.  RT, gaurd, back up? As of now, I think we sign a decent value FA with RT/ gaurd flex.

GMAN is correct.  The pricing plan is nice to not be tied to direc tv, but it is slow to load.  The picture is not sharp as well. The nfl+ is also slow. I often miss the first few mins of a game jumping through hoops to re verify something I've paid for.

I'd be ok with Holmes for depth.  I know he's not popular as a starter though.
Adoree did not look good in slot, but is excellent at boundary. It depends on price and Hawkins development with Jackson.

Killarich and Kingman, next attack on one another will cause a suspension.

Is Glow hurt?   I know he had a bad game early in the year, but his play has surpassed Brederson lately. Not sure why he's in the doghouse.

Good to see some bright spots!   Any update on Beavers?    Buried on depth chart?

Nfl + is cheap. You can watch after game is over.  Other option is to get you tube nfl ticket
