Netflix codes

[Jolly Blue Giant]

Netflix is on the ropes as millions of viewers are cancelling their subscriptions. According to the news this morning it's because Netflix focuses on "quantity over quality", which I get. Lotta stuff on Netflix, but not much worthy of watching. Anyway, I read about this a long time ago and have never tried it, but apparently there are thousands of movies on Netflix that you can't find on the main navigation platform. You have to use a code to find the available movies (supposedly there's a porn code as well, but don't know it and wouldn't share it anyway...LOL...I'm sure someone could find it using Google if they so wanted). I've never tried using a code and was wondering if anyone else has and if so, how do you do it and is it worth it?

One of the codes is for "Classic Movies" and judging by many posts on The Front Porch, we have more than a few people into the old classics so maybe there's a gem or two in there they haven't seen or have been unable to find

My biggest issue with Netflix is they are too quick to pull the trigger on canceling new series.  It's annoying to start investing in watching a series only to learn halfway through it that Netflix decided not to renew it.

Makes me think you can only watch these movies on a computer...unless you use the TV to mirror the computer which my son does. I however, cannot because I don't want to learn anymore technology and am stubborn about it. My son has his BS from University of Wisconsin in "Computer Technology" so if I want something technical, I put it in his lap...LOL

That's what I just tried. I used the link and put in "43048" (Action Thrillers) and it has a whole browsing platform just like on the TV. If you see a movie you like you can use the "search" function on the TV (I presume) and find the movie

It works great!  Type the code into the search bar and bingo.
