#1 songs for every year

A friend sent me an email with a link to the #1 songs for every year since 1940. Myself, I remember most until a certain period, and then I know nothing but it was great to look at this list

This then got me thinking about other songs from each year so I googled it and came up with this from Billboard, every year from 1958, and lists of basically every top song from that year.

As I said, I am a complete dummy once we get to the 'modern' era as I basically don't like that type of music and more often than not listened to oldies stations.
