Last year Schoen went very young with his picks.  This year:

Round 1 - No. 24 - CB Deonte Banks- 3/3/2001 (age 22.15)
Round 2 - No. 57 - Center John Michael Schmitz- 3/19/1999 (age 24.11)
Round 3 - No. 73-  WR Jalin Hyatt- 9/25/2001 (age 21.59)
Round 5 - No. 172 (Comp)- RB Eric Gray- 11/4/1999 (age 23.48)
Round 6 - No. 209 (from KC)- CB Tre Hawkins-8/1/2000 (age 22.74)
Round 7 - No. 243- DT Jordan Riley- 5/19/1998- (age 24.9)
Round 7 - No. 254 (Comp)- S Gervarrius Owens- 10/14/1999 (age 23.54)

I suspect that many of these guys are older than last year's draft picks

The Giants began last season with the 4th youngest (25.56) roster in the NFL. Clearly, the addition of recent Draftees and UdFAs; albeit yet to be counted among the 53-man, will have a lowering effect which is likely to offset some of the vets added in FA. Thus, there is no reason to expect the Giants to not remain among the top-5 youngest.

Cheers!
