"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

I do fantasy football (just one team) and a pool with a bunch of my friends, where the group goes it to a nice Manhattan steakhouse and the winner basically eats and drinks for free the whole night. That keeps everything friendly, but the problem with that system is that there is no difference between having an awful year and narrowly missing first place. We're thinking of changing it to cash this year.

Fantasy football is a lot of fun but I can't be one of these guys who has 5 different teams and 3 different types of leagues, etc. That becomes a bit insane. You end up rooting for practically every player every Sunday.

None of them, although I used to do Fantasy Football. Now I just watch the games.

I'm also in the none camp.  I used to participate in a dorm pool in college but that was a long, long, long time ago.  Nothing since.'
I'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a vindicated pessimist.

T200

I used to do Fantasy but it became too much of a time requirement.

I stick to pick 'ems. I do parlays every now and then. Not a big gambler but sometimes I feel lucky and will drop a few bucks here and there.

I just do the pick 'ems and sometimes the Do or Die.

Could not agree more.  I am obsessed with 1 team.  Can't imagine playing more than one during a season.

Bad enough having say Jalen Hurts say as your QB and he's playing against the Giants that week.

Used to call the bookie every Sunday morning.  First year I did it was Norwood wide right.  I won a nice chunk of change that year, let it all ride on the Super Bowl and won about $800 (that's a lot for me, anyway).  Worst thing that could have happened.  Lost that and more the next few years!

So I devised a pool that mimics calling the bookie but limits exposure to a little over $100.  We bet a fictional $100 every Sunday (mandatory), optional extra plays up to $100 for Thursday & Monday night games and a few other twists.  Straight plays, parlays, teasers, etc.....and we keep a ledger of everybody's (9 of us) "bankroll".  At the end of the season, you owe everybody in front of you $13, so last owes first $104, next to last owes 2nd place $91, etc.  We reformed (code word for losers!) gamblers have been doing this for about 12 years now and we love it!

I do fantasy, a couple of pick ems and usually invest in several bets over a weekend.
If the Giants ain't in the 1pm slot (6pm UK time) I'm glued to Redzone checking my fantasy points and various bets.
It's a great way to pass the time when we're not playing.
Smell my cheese you mother!

None of the above. I do enjoy putting a few bucks down on some of the better harness racing such as the Meadowlands Pace and The Hamiltonion at the Meadowlands in a couple weeks.

I play Madden on occasion on my xbox. I have the cesars sportsbook ap on my phone. Although I think the last time I used it I bet onthe Phillies to win the world series of all things. I think the last football game I bet on was against Dallas when it was Eli's last start before getting benched for Daniel Jones.  :-?? I can't rememeber actually I met have bet on something in the meanwhile. I always lose and hate gambling so I am probably not going t odo it again.

beaugestus

None of the above, just watch the games.

None

Could never do fantasy!  Can't pick rival players and then potentially have to pick against the Giants or hope Giants players do poorly & my players do well.

It's a contradiction I couldn't do!
