Yesterday was the epitome of being a Giants fan this past decade

4 Aces

This game reminded me of one of the Giants most painful regular season defeats.

Anyone remember 2001 - Giants @ Rams?

Jim Fassell's Giants walked into The Edward Jones Dome to play The Greatest Show on Turf. Kurt Warner dominated the headlines, going from grocery clerk to MVP QB overnight. The Giants would be the most recent sacrifical lamb to Mike Martz's mad scientist offense.

Strahan has one of the greatest games I've ever seen a DE play (4 sacks, multiple more hits on Warner) but the Giants get screwed by the officiating and turn the ball over as they hit game-winning FG range. Giants lose 15-14 despite outplaying the Rams.

Let him jump and he stops the ball better.

It almost looked like waller was so sure he was going to get a PI call he didnt really make a second effort to bring that ball in.

Things started to look bad

The Giants rally to give us hope

They only raised us up with that hope to rip it (and our hearts) away at the last possible second

same ole same ole, nothing new-  Unfortunately was waiting on it.
