Caleb Williams is reportedly "undecided" on if this Saturday's game against UCLA will be his final game as a Trojan.

Williams said he's still undecided on playing in USC's bowl game as well, but did say if he was staying at USC, he "wouldn't not" be out there and playing.

Williams reportedly plans to spend time over Thanksgiving week evaluating his options with his family.

Williams father did say earlier this season that Caleb could return to school if he doesn't like the "situations" available in the current draft.

If Williams was to defer until the 2025 NFL Draft, that would leave Drake Maye atop the 2024 board.

The Trojans QB's decision could shake up the ENTIRE NFL landscape 😳

Jaxson Dart is staying another year in college. The 12 team playoff starting next season has players intrigued.

I might have a date with Heidi Klum later today as well.

Maybe the Giants being one of the teams in the hunt is the reason why he's considering waiting it out.

Or the Bears. He seems immature, quite frankly, but he hasn't shown being adverse to the bright lights. Maybe he wants to stay on the west coast (Rams?).. :-??

Philosophers

Maybe he is evaluating OLs of teams that might draft him.

Ed Vette

If he believes he's at an NFL level he will have more years to earn by entering now. So his hesitation shows he's looking for the best situations for teams that will enhance his career. There is some doubt that he will be the top pick this year and there shouldn't be any next year. Could be that too.

He comes up small in big games. He wants a % of ownership in his team. He jumps in his mother's arms and cries like a baby after a loss. He isn't just happy to be drafted high, he wants to control the landing.

A lot of red flags.

Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

Personally, despite this report and despite the fact that these may be legitimate direct quotes, I would put the odds of Williams not coming out this year at no higher than 5%.

Situations in draft.     That means he doesn't want to play for Giants.  Same resin Herbert stayed an extra year...they west coast

You're speculating.

Its extremely unlikely.  Herbert is the only recent example of a top QB having the chance to come out but decided to stay back an extra year.  And he would have likely been the 1st QB taken and maybe the 1st overall pick had he come out the year before, instead he got lumped in with Tua and Burrow.  Regardless of the year, if you're getting picked #1 overall you're going to a pretty lousy team.

Having said that, if the Giants were to earn that pick Williams would be going into about as good of a situation as you can hope to go to for a team with the #1 pick.  The Giants are a QB away right from being respectable, and with 2 second round picks plus whatever they do in free agency they could be a great rookie QB away from contending if things break right.

A QB away from being a good team . It take more than a QB to make them a good team.

Please find out if she has a sister.  ;)

Apparently someone correctly advised Caleb that he's not "all THAT" (to employ a phrase from the 20th century).

He absolutely needs another year to deserve high 1st-round consideration IMO.

Plus the personnel is likely to be better next year. It's a team sport.

If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!
