I think it's unfair to judge players who transfer out to another school then find success at that school.  It may be due to better fitting scheme, maturity, better communication with position coach/head coach, etc.  I'd be more worried if a player didn't develop as being the red flag.

I agree and I think you place heavy emphasis on the more recent data. My issue with Nix isn't so much that. More just that I think he had it pretty easy this year. I want to see him perform at a high level under more challenging circumstances than he faced against the Colorados and Stanfords of the world. I think that's reasonable.
