Weather has always been a part of the game, I don't think because of GLOBAL WARMING it is a bigger problem now 🙄
They are peeing all over the game, they easily postpone games, now even playoffs, put playoff games on pay per view.....!

Do games now get stopped when there is a lightning storm above? Is that being 'soft' or being wise?
Do they take special care when players get hurt or do they just drag them to the sidelines? I'd like to think they have become older and wiser and not 'soft'.
Really give us a break with this already. The governor of NY had declared a snow emergency and no vehicles are allowed on the roads, so according to you, we play the game anyway because we can't postpone games or be seen as being 'soft'.
WTF is wrong with people? I guess the safety of 70,000 fans means nothing, the safety of teams, officials, and people who work at the stadium all mean nothing because we don't want to be perceived as being 'soft' and we adopt the 'take no prisoners' attitude.
Just play the game no matter what.   :boooo:  :boooo:  :boooo:  :boooo:  :boooo:  :boooo:  :boooo:
I HATE TO INCLUDE THE WORD NASTY< BUT THAT IS PART OF BEING A WINNING FOOTBALL TEAM.

28 Dead in 'Once in a Generation' Blizzard in Western New York
Thousands remain without power in the Buffalo region, where there is as much as 49 inches of snow on the ground, with more still falling.

Never let facts get in the way of a rant smearing others. ::)

At least 32 deaths connected to the Blizzard of '22 have been confirmed by local officials as of Tuesday morning, with the majority coming within the City of Buffalo.

The number surpasses the most commonly reported death toll from the Blizzard of '77 – widely known as Buffalo's worst storm of all-time, at least prior to this week.

Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz said the Medical Examiner's Office has confirmed 31 storm-related deaths, and one more was reported from Niagara County. The death toll may continue to grow.

Poloncarz offered condolences to families who lost loved ones "as a result of the worst storm that we've ever seen." He also provided a breakdown of the cause of deaths in Erie County:

17 were found outside
7 were from no heat
3 were from cardiac events due to shoveling or snow blowing
3 were in a stranded vehicle
1 was from an EMS delay

Needless to say the fans will be standing the entire game. I want to see some tailgating videos.

Rich, being in the left coast I was not aware how bad the weather is, but I still stand behind my rant:
Football fans know how to gear for cold games... I am aware that people die from cold, but I was asking about fans fatalities due to wearer.
And delaying the game one day makes that much difference?
I just don't remember games being postponed before.. they do it easily now!

You keep saying "cold" when Buffalo received more than 3 feet of snow, and during the storm, the winds were so strong that they had blinding blizzard conditions.  Your fancy winter coat isn't going to do jack sh1t in the face of that.

This is coming from someone who has driven ambulances in blizzards and worked at a hospital clearing snow after we got better than 3 feet and had to drive my own 4X4 to retrieve critical personnel and witnessed ambulances bringing in a DOA who was only a DOA because they couldn't get through the snow in a reasonable amount of time.  I have witnessed first hand the power and danger that winter blizzards and heavy snowfalls can bring.

Have you seen the stadium in Buffalo today? Snowball city. Ran out of dudes to shovel. If you like atmospherics (i.e. snow drifts)..today is great..old school imagery.

I appreciate the explanation, may be I was wrong about this postponement of the game in Buffalo. 🙏🏻
