Getting vaccinated doesn't stop you from getting Covid as has been proven over and over and over again!  So vaxxed or not we all know now if you are exposed to it, you have a good chance of catching it.

So I can't hold that against him.  Players in the league vaxxed caught it and missed time as well.

The issue above that is it seems so far if you sneeze this guy gets hurt.

I agree this season he has to put up or shut up.  He has a lot to prove this season!

It is proven to reduce the chances that you will catch it from someone close to you. I am vaxed and single boosted and managed not to test positive while it spread through my house.

Toney getting Covid twice is his own fault for not getting vaccinated.
OBJ won everyone over his rookie year by starting the final 12 games after missing the first 4 and then the entire 2nd season minus a 1 game suspension. I don't recall anyone complaining about him being injury prone his first 2 seasons. When you produce at a pro bowl level from day 1 you get a bit of leeway.

Toney should not ever be compared to OBJ. He had 1 good game last year, then disappeared and has been a royal PITA. It's time for him to put up or shut up.

king: Situations like your dad's (my condolences) represent the strongest argument for requiring as many folks as possible to be vaccinated. I strongly favor it (as you do) but have trouble forcing it on anyone. Bob

You are pro-vaccinations yet you trash my opinion that Toney's decision not to get one is bad for team and reflects poorly on him. OK then.

Exactly

If the shoes fit and he has a great practice it

Is it true that Toney is an anti-vaxer? I read that he retweeted some of Cole Beasley's BS propaganda.

If you're referring to Trevin Wade he is an UFA

He's not on that list either.

Wade is missing.

Toomer:   Technically correct but it is still the post season.    Try to tell Pirate fans anything different.

Oh I will if they lose the play-in game.   :P

They made the Play-in game, not the playoffs.  IMO you need to win the WC play-in game to be a playoff contender.

OK  I know no one cares  but    Congrats to the Pirates for clinching their first winning season since 1992.

I just discovered this baseball forum and I care.  However it wasn't until last night that they got the 82 wins to ensure a winning season.

Sounds like Will Allen part 2.

I'm hoping he's more like that other allpro CB with a name that no one can pronounce.   :D

Pro Football Weekly draft analyst Nolan Nawrocki: Amukamara slid in large part because of concerns teams had about his perceived quirky personality and questions about how well he would fit into an NFL locker room. Many teams shy away from cornerbacks without interceptions, but the Giants, a value-driven team, recognized his worth and added depth to a battered secondary. He lacks ideal downfield ball skills, but he excels in short areas and could be a solid press corner for the Giants' aggressive defense.

Not the Giants.  We love stone hands DB's who can't catch.

I hope you guys are right.  I think CB was not a day 1-2 need position and that we should have taken Ingrim or an OL.  It seems like Reese loads up at some positions (DE, DB, WR) but lets others go thin (LB, RB).  Maybe I have more faith in TT than others.  We needed to address our aging OL, not a position that is relatively young by NFL standards.
