Giants selling off Leonard Williams and hopefully others should keep them in the top 5 and in position to potentially trade with Chicago. The Bears might still like Fields or even if they don't they can't draft two QBs back to back so they could easily trade one of those picks to a team, such as the Giants, that desperately need a new QB to start over with.

If the Giants remain at 4, I do not think they need to trade up. I think the bright light comet of Caleb Williams is shining less brightly. He concerned me in his last poor game when I felt like he was just brooding on the sideline. Even when a QB is sub-performing, he has to keep his energy up and be talking to and leading his players.
The Giants will have good options at 4 to get a QB. They can also trade back a bit and still land a good one I think.
Based on remaining schedules Arizona looks like the #1 pick. The Bears still have to play Carolina, Arizona, Green Bay and the Vikes without Cousins.Carolina looks like #2 but just drafted a QB. We could be drafting #3 with excellent QB's available.
Only 8 weeks in we are still in "finger in the air" mode on predicting what the top 7 order will look like. All kinds of stuff can still happen. The draft order becomes more of a tangible discussion point in early Dec IMO. Not to mention the fact that there is still a lot of college ball to be played and the consensus views on some of these QBs can change. Perhaps not on the first or second QB off the board but certainly on the others.
