Interesting!

I doubt Elliot expected Snacks to blow through the oline like that. I also don't blame Elliot for his read as it was likely easier beating Snacks than trying to blow by a LB in the phone booth position.

If there's one area of the team I'll give the Giants the benefit of the doubt? D-line.

I stopped drafting long posts because I felt people either didn't read'em, skimmed'em or took one line entirely out of context.

I didn't get a chance to listen to the full show but what I heard was outstanding!

For a TE? No.

For a higher impact position (in a better year with better premium position players) such a QB, LT or elite DE/CB? Probably yes.

Reaching for need is not the best approach.

I am not seeing Hankins replacement falling to the Giants at 23.  In fact I have yet to see a DT that is at all exciting.

D lineman could be a DE as well in preparation of JPP being gone if a long term contract is unobtainable. I'm not saying I agree with the idea.

Keep in mind that this is the same organization that drafted Wilson/Randle when they had no olinemen left after the sb46 run.

I think the Giants go D-Lineman in the first round. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised to see them grab two d-linemen in the first three rounds.

Guys,

I can understand and appreciate the assertion that McCaffrey would be a better player.  However, I subscribe to the school of thought that you need to build your line before you add skill players (with the exception of franchise QB).   The team can realistically get a starting caliber RG in round 2 and maybe three, they are not going to find any starting caliber OTs after they pick at 23.

Drafting McCaffrey would be too similar to drafting David Wilson to run behind a poor line.  Zeke looked like such a great pick for the Cowboys because they had a great line to block for him.

Wait...you mean picking David Wilson no o-line in front of him was a bad idea?

Yeah, watching Cam Robinson was eerily familiar to watching ole Ereck..

Isn't there a mix of former coaches/analysts? I imagine most would have at least some experience through college football programs and/or NFL level experience.

Payton if he can get out of his contract or McDaniels.
