Quote from: Jolly Blue Giant on February 12, 2024, 08:41:28 AMAll in all, a good night of entertainment. I was shocked at how athletic Usher is. He put on a hell of a show at half time. And I've always been a big fan of Alicia Keys (such a sweet person), and that was one hell of a wild piano she was playing. I'd give the show a 10 out of 10

I hate to break it to you but no one was playing piano on stage. The halftime show has been pre-recorded for years now. They say that Prince was the last one to play and sing live. The RHCP spilled the beans about how the SB wouldn't let them play their instruments so they unplugged them to make a point.

Quote from: killarich on February 11, 2024, 09:50:29 PMThat really does not mean anything

Non-Giant "homers" also believed and probably still believe Romo was a better QB then Eli

There is no such thing as a non-Giants homer. The term homer only applies to a team you root for not against.

I have a friend who is going scorched earth on his Facebook on Kelce for getting caught on camera getting into Reid's face. Wants him benched and says Reid is a wussy for letting him play. My friend was a Kelce/Swift hater before the game began. Does he have a point?

Quote from: Philosophers on February 11, 2024, 08:43:15 PMThanks.  Never heard of it.

The whole irony of its origins is that Happy Days was still the #1 show on TV after that episode and lasted another 4-5 seasons. If there is one TV show where there is much debate about when it Jumped The Shark it seems to be Dexter.

Quote from: kartanoman on February 11, 2024, 08:26:39 PMYeah, and CBS is just dying to go to the Taylor Swift box for a reaction and, to date, it's been "nothing to see here."

Yes, let's hope it continues.

Triggered!

namath and bradshaw

not even a debate eli deserves it

It is absolutely a debate which is why I said ask non Giants homers what they think to get a non-NYC centric perspective. Jim Plunkett and Simms should be in if Eli is a no brainer.
