If we have a shot at one of the qb's coming out we need to use the pick on the qb

Quote from: Rambo89 on September 10, 2023, 09:47:41 PMDon't think they could have played worse in the first half.  I am stunned they've looked this bad all around on all units.

Yep. It's been a real eye opener. I'd say wet field had a part in it but it doesn't seem to be bothering Dallas. So far thibs and Neal are underwhelming to say the least and if they don't get better fast those are 2 big misses on a 5th and 7th overall picks

It sounds like the weather might be terrible for Sunday night with scattered thunderstorms. Who does that favor. I think giants are finally ready to put the cowboys in their place but if it turns into a monsoon who knows. Hoping the weather forecast changes by then.

Quote from: Ed Vette on July 17, 2023, 04:28:53 PMLike I just said to Chris Whales and Tim on text, give him 24 hours to sign the tag or rescind it and move on. Take a hard look at Dalvin Cook. Maybe they like what they have in house and save $10mm.

I agree Ed. We'll survive if we have to without sequon. Don't want this dragging out all summer.

Based on the reports that Mara basically ordered schoen back in negotiations when it seemed he was ready to call it a day with Jones it appears that Mara is back to his old ways of sticking his nose into things he should not be again. For my money I transition tag him and if the jets offer me 2 firsts for him I say thank you, take the picks and continue to fill some of the many holes on this team and maybe even draft a qb if there is one there they like on their pick. I think if schoen signs Jones to an onerous contract it will have maras messy fingerprints all over it.

Big Blue Huddle / Re: NFT: Baseball Rule Changes

I like the new rules. The ones that are bad baseball will likely adjust after watching how they play out. The stolen bases are definitely going to be a factor which is why its imperative that someone like volpe is on the roster as soon as possible and cashman is able to dump Donaldson and IKF somewhere or Hal swallows hard and cuts them. Donaldson and IKF is the reason Hal should have fired cashman and not extended him!

Im with you files although the first 2 series the devils and Carolina are not physical teams. If we get to the third round and face a bruins or tampa that will be a physical series. More concerning is we get any injuries are we able to replace them and the defense need to take more calculated risks when pinching so we don't have the amount of breakaways and odd man rushes like were giving up now. And last but not least Igor need to be Igor and stand on his head. At least they have 3 weeks or so to get used to each other before the playoffs start.

Quote from: T200 on January 21, 2023, 11:10:41 PMI agree that the future is bright. The huge disappointment is in how they were completely whipped up and down the field with no resistance whatsoever. They got punched in the mouth from the opening bell and never defended themselves. Unfortunately in football, there is no TKO. They got their asses kicked the entire night.

I think I'm the early stages of a rebuild like ours a good asskicking is something that can be built on in terms of removing thoughts that they're there. They know now if they didn't before the game there is a lot more work to be done to be amongst the elite teams. One of which they played last night. They'll get there with the current management group. Just may take a year or 2 more!

Too many holes to fill to spend that kind of money on a rb often hurt and with wear on the tires. Find a mid round 4th or later cheaper option like other teams do and build the areas that are more important like OL, dl, LB AND CB
