It did not take long for Ojluari to make impact plays. The young pass rusher had seven pressures and a pivotal sack-fumble of Taylor Heinicke to start the second half. His forced fumble at the Washington 25-yard line sparked the Giants' only second-half touchdown drive before the Giants' offense went three-and-out three times before the end of regulation; their only other drive was a four-and-out.

The  Ojulari bend is something he can do that Thibs doesn't or can't!  Gives him a different attack on the offense they have to contend with!

If the Giants can get their secondary healthy enough to give the pass rush a chance AND Ojulari can stay healthy, he has the potential to make a real impact down the stretch.  I know a few of you say injuries don't matter or next man up, but Ojulari is a prime example of what a team can lose from injuries.

He's had plenty of rest so he should be fresh to finish the season.

They need one more edge rusher. You can never have enough pass rushers. Ward has been a nice addition but he's not a threat both ways.
"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

I agree another 3rd rounder and a couple 4th/5th rd depth at de/nt and that section of the team should be good.

5 things we learned (12/8):

1. Kayvon & Azeez back together

As we enter Week 14, the Giants have not had their starting defensive line play an entire game together yet this season due to injuries. Between Dexter Lawrence, Leonard Williams, Azeez Ojulari and Kayvon Thibodeaux, Lawrence is the only one that's started every game. The group went into last week's contest healthy before Williams departed early with a neck injury, as Ojulari played in his first game since Week 4.
Despite Williams missing part of the game against the Commanders, the defense had one of their most productive days getting after the quarterback. Five different players registered a sack as the unit added a combined 10 quarterback hits. Although it was just his first game back, Ojulari was on the field for an impressive 49 defensive snaps (58 percent).
"It was obviously a big day getting after the quarterback, but we really haven't the initial starting lineup together since we started, if you want to really reflect on it," Wink Martindale said. "So, when you get the entire starting lineup together that's when it's going to be even more fun than what it was Sunday, but you can see the difference. You guys can see it, you can feel the difference or however you want to say it and just watching the both of them out there."
Ojulari notched a sack and a forced fumble along with two quarterback hits. Despite missing two months, Ojulari has back-to-back games with a sack and forced fumble. On the other side, Thibodeaux recorded a sack and two quarterback hits, and giving him 13 pressures over the past two weeks (six QB hits, six hurries and one sack).
In only their second full game together, Thibodeaux and Ojulari combined for two sacks, four quarterback hits and 11 total pressures.
"I think Kayvon continues to grow and get better every game. There's something new that stands out, and same thing with Azeez," said Martindale.

This team fully healthy could give some pretty good teams problems with the way they fight and compete out there.

We are made righteous in Christ through his obedience made complete on the Cross , dying to the flesh and being completely made new through his resurrection.

Likewise we can now put off the former perspective of unholiness and put on his perfect garment of righteousness!

One college player this year who took a nice leap in development with results was Zach Harrison from Ohio State.  He is maybe a 3rd round as of now but 6'4" and around 270 with very good athleticism.  He may be your mid-round edge.

Mike Morris from Michigan really stepped up as an edge following Hitchinson and Ojabo's departure.  Morris is more of a power player than speed player and rushes from the DE spot.

A healthy D with all its starters I think can compete with teams.  Our LBs are still a HOT MESS even when healthy!

Our O doesn't compete against ANYONE!
