4th round draft choice 2022

Checks all the physical measurables boxes.

Say what you want about the Dan Snyder reginme his scouting and drafting people  are miles ahead of us and have been for a good while.

Same regime drafted Kirk Cousins in the 4th round in the same draft they traded 3 #1 picks for RG III.

Not sure if drafting RGIII where they did and paying 3 1sts and 2nd to get there helps to make this point.

Have a hard time getting excited about their drafting given their record over the last several years.

If we want to look at specific picks like the QBs named, how about Washington selecting Chase Young over Andrew Thomas?

I have to agree. The RG3 trade was all-time bad, and their record overall under the Snyder regime was downright putrid. They were a non-threat basically every single year under his watch. Maybe they made the playoffs a couple of times but they were never legitimately good. It's hard to defend their drafting in a strong way. It may have been better than ours in the past decade or so, but we were a bottom 5 NFL team during that period, so that's really not saying very much. Was it "miles" better? I doubt it. Miles better would be the Cowboys' and Eagles' drafting IMO.
