I love this post. All the guys who bailed on speaking with media and only Barkley continues to stand accountable. He may not be what folks hoped he'd be but he's a "glue" guy. Every team needs one and he can also be a playmaker. Imagine him in an offense with an actual passing game?

We all love Barkley, he is the ultimate team player. The issue is that he is not going to be cheap enough. The difference between a great RB and a good RB (in terms of production) is not enough to justify spending the additional cap room.

Barkley's price is the issue, especially with carrying Jones as he's not being cut just yet.
