We did watch the second season of The Morning Show and it worked for us.

Started watching Ozark. I realize that it's starting off slow but Linda is losing patience with it. I think we just finished the third episode.

When the new seasons come out of Ted Lasso or The Morning Show, will all the episodes be released or will they be released one each week?

Ozark is anything but dull. There is action galore and dont get attached to too many characters. Give it time to develop the story.

I saw a new documentary called The Hatchet Wielding Hitchhiker. It's about a sweet, charming, goofy homeless man that stops a man from attacking two women by hitting the attacker on the head with a hatchet. The homeless man gets interviewed by the local TV station and the video goes viral all over the world. Everyone wants to help this new hero or interview him or invite him on their show. He appears on the Jimmy Kimmel show. He is riding high but 3 months later he is arrested for murder and gets sentenced to prison. Very interesting documentary.

Thank you for the review. I saw this when I was surfing through my Netflix and have been meaning to look into what it was. Now I know, and I'm definitely interested.

I've seen several episodes but not this one yet. Interesting and so far a few of them have that implant or attachment to stimulate the cerebral cortex or enhance DMT in the pineal gland.

Yeah, in 1923 it leads up to great expense and then...wait...have to wait until February for the next episode 

Just started Mayor of Kingstown. Not as gripping as 1923, but I can tell I will stick with it. Jeremy Renner (star of Mayor of Kingstown) had quite the accident. He lives in the rural mountains of Nevada when he's not in Hollywood and helps out his small town by being a firefighter and snow plow driver and anything else he can do to help the town. A couple weeks ago he got ran over by a Piston Bully snow groomer and broke over 60 bones and has been in critical condition for a couple weeks. They figure he's got about 6 months of retraction in a hospital before he can go home and will need months of rehab to walk again. A friend of mine got ran over by a Piston Bully and they barely saved his life having to air lift him to Upstate Medical Center where he was touch and go for several days. He was lucky there were a half dozen men around to jump into emergency mode and saved his life

A Piston Bully weighs over 8 tons and has 5 ft wide tracks with horizontal steel blades every six inches or so. The only thing that could have saved him was he was pushed down in snow and not on hard pan or pavement or it would have cut him into six inch pieces

Yeah he does a lot of work for the film studio that I work for. He is genuinely a good guy, and give Mayor of Kingstown 5 episodes to start getting really good, it doesn't suck you in immediately like Yellowstone and Tulsa king.

Funny thing...yesterday's paper said he had over 60 broken bones. This morning's paper says he had 30 broken bones - what to believe 

Whatever, having that many broken bones is an awful situation to deal with

We just finished watching 'Only Murderers in the Building' Season 1 and my wife and I liked it very much. It was a bit over the top at times, but it was great to watch Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez (and other assorted characters) in a real murder mystery. We just started Season 2 and much looking forward to it.

I'm a big fan of the show. It's gotten good reviews and a lot of people like it. They even had Short and Martin host SNL because of it. Their opening dialogue they eulogized each other so they could hear it before they were dead. Of course, Selena Gomez crashed in on them...made me laugh. Regardless, they work well together in the popular "Only Murders..."

Is anyone else watching "Last of Us"?  It's on HBO, and it looks like the next water cooler TV show.  I have had people tell me it's good (including @Jaime).  I watched episode one and will watch another episode, but I am not sure after Walking Dead that I am ready for another post-apocalypse zombie show.

 Maybe because of TWD I had this on my radar as a [possible decent watch. My wife won't want any part of it, but I am really waiting for some reviews to see if it is worth the time to watch it.

Lately I've been watching, on Tubi, some of the old mystery/sci-fi tv shows from the 50's such as One Step Beyond, and Tales of Tomorrow. These originally aired before my time, but were the type of show I probably would've watched had I been a young teen back then. Tonight I watched a couple episodes of Tales of Tomorrow (from 1951). One of the episodes was titled "The Crystal Egg," originally written as a short story by H.G. Wells. Apparently he wrote it the same year that he wrote War of the Worlds, and it may actually have been the prequel to the classic novel. As it plays out you realize it's a tale of Martians remotely watching life on earth.
