I read that the Giants do not want to play Mills at safety but to have him as a more versatile piece at CB.  That left only Pinnock and Belton so the need was obvious for safety.  Phillips drafted for primarily slot but also outside on occasion is as much about his physicality as it is about his versatility.

I read shallow instead of swallow.

The Giants typically do well with certain picks in round 2: DT and safety. Here's hoping that trend continues.

I just don't view Slayton as a consequential subject either way, so I'm not sure why he's getting so much airtime this week.

He's not that impactful if they keep him, and he's not going to get you much in a trade if you move him. Either way I just don't get why he's such a subject right now. He is the quintessential definition of a JAG.

I'd be looking at one of Sanders, Wingo, Mahogany, and Jaylen Wright with this next pick.
