It looks like the Giants signed Eagles TE Jack Stoll.

Xavier McKinney has been tweeting cryptic stuff again. This guy is a problem waiting to happen and Giants would be smart to let him go. The guy comes across as a big distraction in my opinion.

I think what Toomer says is reflective of what many have been attempting to articulate. In any event, it is another metric to utilize in the overall evaluation of the QB.

As stated by others, Pugh had a calming influence on the line. Many of us felt he was washed up and blasted the idea of taking a flyer on him. Hopefully he continues to get his legs under him and teaches these young kids about life in the trenches. He really did a nice job in an uncomfortable spot against a top rushing team and defense and it was in national tv - so kudos to him.

Imagine if we get the other linemen back and somehow can steal a few games from division rivals down the road. Maybe the season won't be a total loss.

After showing he can move the ball and go downfield does Tyrod deserve a chance to play next week even if Jones is healthy?

I believe he has earned the right to get another game. He looked much more poised than Jones.

Daboll is on record saying guys who make plays will play. We have seen Hyatt be electric. I realize he plays somewhat but no consistency and he certainly isn't being targeted at all.

Question is - Why hasn't the media pressed him hard on this question? And what is wrong with the guy not seeing what we have in Hyatt?

Hope he heals quick. Good opportunity for him to rest up.

I have been a staunch critic but an even bigger cheerleader and supporter. This thread is meant to highlight his professionalism, effort and humility.

I sincerely appreciate the way this young man conducts himself. Todays postgame comments only cemented that for me. I hope he is ok. I will continue to root like crazy for him. I believe we are going to find out for certain in the next few weeks where his career will be headed but for tonight I simply wish to illustrate a sincerity and appreciation that many NY Football Giants also likely feel.

If you could ask the Beat writers a question to pose what would it be?

1. Did any of you ask what is going on with Hyatt?...we were told if you make plays you see the field. He made some plays in previous games but I didn't even remember seeing his jersey today.

2. Why did we wait so long to remove Ezudu

I really enjoyed our defense (and team) last year. Something is very different. Hard schedule. Maybe an off year. Who knows. But one thing I feel is certain, I underestimated Julian Love contributions on defense and in the locker room. McKinney and crew have not been anywhere near his level

1. Daniel Jones proves all of us wrong and lights it up downfield while playing with emotion and a serious chip on his shoulder!

2. Hyatt is targeted early and often

3. A huge defensive turnover that inspires the entire team

4. We run the ball well and give Jones time.

5. Inspired tackling!

6. Waller/Bellinger show up

7. Thibs gets to the QB

8. Neal thumbs his nose at the critics and has a big big game!
