Anything but oline let's gooo.
I would love DeSean, Kool-aid, Ennis, Bullard, Trotter Jr, or Jonathan Brooks
I think Dejean is listed as a corner I think he could be an elite safety, him or Nubin.

remimds me of the WR Johnston from TCU last year.
Prediction that almost always seems to come true on day 2- there will be players that drop to our slot that most of us think would be a no-brainer grab him pick and we will end up with some other dude or weird position that throws us for a loop. :ok:
Let's the Wrs roll In so we can grab a guy.
Day two picks are the key roster building picks

Run on DTs and WRs early in 2.
Confirmed Giants offered 2024, 2025 1st rd pick, 47 overall, and 107 overall to patriots and wolfe accepted, but kraft overruled.
Safeties will be there at 47 I think

Giants history of 2nd round safeties is pretty good (Landon Collins and Xavier McKinney)...

Safety or Corner? Kool-aid or Rakestraw could be our 1B for the next decade at Corner.

Wow always can count on the Titans to draft drunk drivers.
With the Giants original 2nd round pick, the Panthers trade it to the Rams and the Rams take

Wanted Fiske or a DT .... Wouldn't mind Melton from Rutgers to play corner at this point
I wonder if the NFL is happy about these "insiders" jumping their TV productions
Chargers stole McConkey in the second... What will you say if he turns out to be a better pro than Nabers picked 30 picks earlier?

Nothing ... what is there to say ?
Nabers will never have lasted to the second and Mcconkley wasn't getting picked by anyone that early
It would just be a good pick by the Chargers

Why not? Professionals with vast resources, paid nicely, should know better... That is what I would say.

Our pick took longer probably because of what had just transpired..
With the 47th pick NY Giants decide to take S Tyler Nubin!
Damn.. Washington took Ben Sinnott!

Multiple beat writers covered it but the talking Giants guys clarified that was the final offer and Wolfe accepted but Kraft declined after bringing in an outside consultant firm and that firm saying take the qb.

Commanders desperately needed tackle help and ignored it all 3 picks in the 2nd.
Ennis rakestraw and Tj Tampa still there, plus a ton of running backs and a couple lbs. We are going to get an impact player in the 3rd
Remarkably, with the Giants 8 picks away from their 3rd Round selection, the value is STILL at WR and CB. There is a guy here or there at other positions (TE, RB, G) but they may have a a decent CB still sitting there in the 3rd.
Scratch rakestraw, detriot got a real one

CBS are going. There should be a good RB available. Would this be a spot where you would grab one?
Some intriguing IOL prospects should be available too. I think the niggling thought in the back of everyone's mind at 1925 Giants way is how to make the offense better. That's why my bet is RB or IOL
I feel like they may take a guard now

What did I tell ya. Corner Back :D

Nubin was an excellent pick; probably the best and most versatile Safety in the Draft. Phillips is another Grade A pick at CB either inside or outside. 3 picks, 3 A grades. Well Done!
Cheers!
I think we lost our shot at the best Day 1 starting Guards. Zinter was the last. My guess is they like their FA signings.
Looks like DT and RB are their holes they may focus on.

I think they might be looking at TEs. They brought in Theo Johnson (the only TE) for a visit. They also brought in RB Trey Benson (the only RB), but he's gone. DT's have been picked clean except for Gabe Hall. We're on the clock tomorrow with the 6th pick, I expect it could be
TE Theo Johnson or TE Cade Stover,
DT3 Gabe Hall, or maybe one of the RBs
Jaylen Wright, Braelen Allen, or
Ray Davis :-??
So do folks here like the 2nd and 3rd round picks?

Yeah that's a good point about DTs being picked clean. Hope it's a very athletic TE so not Cade Stover.

Cade Stover had the highest pass block rating of any TE in college...basically an extra offensive lineman. But we picked up two "block only" type TEs in FA, so probably won't happen. I think they like Theo, but your guess is as good as mine. Personally, if there is a RB they really like, they probably ought to get him because he won't be there in round 5...most likely
Personally, I'd be pretty happy with DT Mekki Wingo. He's undersized for DT3, but he's a ball of muscle who plays like the cartoon character, the Tasmanian Devil
Surprised CB TJ Tampa is still on the board...go figure :-??

I want more of an Isaiah Likely.
Jaylen Wright would be someone I'd like.
I love Nubin, I am OK with Phillips (just wish he had hands). Not much 3T help left if we cannot get Wingo or Dorlus early day 3. Edge depth also not terrific. Several decent TE and RB fits still out there. Still some CBand WR help if we want to double-dip at high tariff positions. Only a handful of guards left with solid developmental potential. Not much at T.
