Quote from: T200 on Today at 01:58:44 PMHe was definitely boom or bust but without him, this offense would have been much worse.

I do think the Giants' RB-by-committee will collectively produce more than featuring Barkley.

The goal is to get better than Dallas and Philly. It didn't work out for Barkley here. Players come and go but the goal hasn't changed.

Quote from: Doc16LT56 on Today at 01:52:05 PMI would enjoy watching Saquon languish in Philly, so I'll commit to starting a thread the first time he averages less than 3 yards a carry, which he did in 20% of his starts as a Giant.

Because the rivalry with Philly matters to me, not an aging RB who was sold to us as touched by God but was in reality known as much for his bitcoin advocacy than anything he accomplished on the field.

Quote from: T200 on Today at 01:43:16 PMKnowing how we are around here, most of them will undoubtedly be after he has a bad game.

Point is, some that say they don't care one way or the other will be the ones initiating the threads... because they actually care.

Big Blue Huddle / Re: Is Malik Nabers Qb Proof?

Nabers' after the catch skills are QB proof... but his ability to stress the defense at multiple levels is not (and requires the QB and/or OL to adjust and improve).

Quote from: BluesCruz on Today at 09:30:24 AMSome things the Giants do are baffling to me. I hope with Saquon gone, and the upgrade of the WRs that we move to a more wide open unpredictable offense. Lets see where this goes
The offense will have the benefit of surprise to start the season and will be unpredictable until about mid-season, when there's enough film for opposing DCs to adjust.

Quote from: AZGiantFan on May 20, 2024, 08:54:49 PMThat's funny, since with better personnel (Thomas and Pugh) they gave up a higher percentage of sacks when he was under center than they did when DJ was under center.

Sacks aside they seemed to be more in synch for DeVito (and Tyrod Taylor),that's what I meant

The not so slippery Daniel Jones seemed constantly running for his life

Quote from: Painter on Today at 12:33:22 PMHaving a vacuous biased agenda hardly depends on beat writer and other media discussions, now does it?

Cheers!

What agenda could possibly served discussing how Nabers will fair as a rookie when you take the qb out of the conversation which I did at the beginning of the post?
