With the Daboll/Schoen regime coming in they should have cleaned house, including Jones.

Put Tyrod in and let him find Hyatt or Waller downfield. Jones can't see 10 yards in front of him.
 :Giants:  ALL HAIL THE NEW YORK GIANTS!!!  :Giants:

I'm a Jones supporter

But he's no Eli Manning ...please stop

He had a way better offensive line. He had all world receivers.

Giants getting dominated on both sides of the line. Jones playing like a rookie. Defense can't tackle. STs suck.

Quote from: H-Town G-Fan on October 02, 2023, 10:40:42 PMI guess I can't blame Jones: if I got paid $40MM to dink and dunk, why would I bother doing something different?  /sarcasm/

He had to "settle" for $40mm too. He hemmed and hawed for a while to get $47mm a year, which is more than Josh Allen gets. Did you see him play on Sunday?

I'd love to see a QB change just to show everyone there are plays that are being LEFT on that field!

If you are talking to me I was not comparing him to Eli I was just saying I saw the same thing in person when Seattle was here. Before

Offensive line in 2011 was putrid.

Quote from: T200 on October 02, 2023, 10:41:02 PMIt's like he has blinders on that prevent him from seeing past the shallow route.

He pre-determines and then can't adapt on the fly. So he either delivers it (regardless of the proximity of defenders) or pulls it down, looks around with no real intent to go to another read, then tucks it for a sack or scramble.

Quote from: Rambo89 on October 02, 2023, 10:43:51 PMWhat's to get he's always staring down receivers and more comfortable checking down rather than going for the end zone or downfield.

I can see him staring down Waller from time to time. He stares at our worst WR.

Another putrid effort by our OL

Ed Vette

How do you fire the Oline, QB and ST Coach after four games?
"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."
~ Coach Tom Coughlin

That pick is a prime example of the problem with DJ. He has to see his 6-6 tight end running to the back corner and just throw it up for him over that sitting CB. Those are the difference maker plays you just never seem to get from DJ. He just seems to choose the easy throw every time.
