There are a handful of interesting games this week but nothing compares to the one going on right now in Buffalo. I'm conflicted today because this is the first nice weather we've had in several days, but it's hard to miss this game.
NBC stepped in you-know-what having the Jets game tonight. The ratings for this broadcast will be absolutely through the roof because of Taylor Swift. The camera will be on here more than any single player I'm guessing.
Neither team is playing defense in Buffalo.
Iggles struggling in the first half against Washington whose defensive front is giving them fits.
Washington playing very hard. Howell showing composure. Chase Young revitalized.
Denver's defense is horrific.

I'm thoroughly enjoying watching the arrogant Sean Payton get this well-deserved comeuppance this season after his out of line, unprovoked public attack on Nathaniel Hackett during training camp. He's a jerk and he deserves this humiliation.
Eagles are just too good, dammit.

Bears are shameful. Eberflus made some bonehead decisions in the loss to the awful Broncos. Blow a 21-point lead despite Denvers clueless D. :boooo: :surrender: What a disgrace.

NBC really stepped in you-know-what to have had this Jets game scheduled in the SNF slot this week. Obviously this was scheduled well before the Taylor Swift/Kelce situation developed. As a result of her being at the stadium, tons of people (primarily females) who could care less about football will be tuning in for this one. I bet it sets records for any week four SNF game ever.

The AFC has the better QBs, by a lot. The NFC has the better line play, offensive and defensive, by a lot.
This says it all.
Dare I say, Zach Wilson looks legitimately good tonight.
And Mahomes looks way off his game.
Almost like these two QBs switched bodies before the game.
I think the pressure of being in my fantasy team is proving a lot for Mahommes to handle.

Back to the game though, that defensive holding call on the play that Mahomes threw his third pick was absolutely bogus. I don't like to bitch about officiating generally, but it was called for in this case. If you're going to throw the flag that late in the game on something that mild, you need to have been calling it all game, which this guy wasn't.
Further, there was clear offensive holding on the play where Mahomes ran it on third and long for the conversion, and that went uncalled.
Who knows if the Jets would have even won if those calls had been different, but they definitely might have as both were pivotal plays late in the game.
At the end of the day though the Wilson fumble was a killer. You just can't do that. Shame as he played a very good game otherwise. But that really can't happen in that spot.

I could have kept Burrow but let him go back into the draft and took Watson and Tua. Watson is hurt and Tua fell flat yesterday. But who did I keep instead of Burrow? Kyle Pitts and Drake London who are stuck with a worst passing offense in the NFL.
