WR and ST ace Gunner Olszewski is signing with the #Giants practice squad, per source. He was a first-team All Pro with the Patriots in 2020.

Could be immediate spot for him with Gary Brightwell leaving Sunday's win with a hamstring injury.

Olszewski has 75 career punt returns with the Patriots and Steelers. He's averaged 12.0 yards per return.

Rookie Eric Gray muffed his third punt of the season for the Giants on Sunday. Sterling Shepard took his spot and fumbled away a punt. Darius Slayton finished the Sunday's win as the Giants PR.

All that matters to me is whether he can catch a punt in MetLife Stadium.  Bob

Well..we've gone to the well with returners and that bucket has sprung leaks for years. Seems like a no-brainer..but where was the foresight in preseason that this is a problem?
