Post by: MightyGiants on January 17, 2024, 01:31:32 PM
Remaining QBs in NFL playoffs:

Lamar Jackson: 1st round pick (pick 32)
C.J. Stroud: 1st round pick (pick 2)
Josh Allen: 1st round pick (pick 7)
Patrick Mahomes: 1st round pick (pick 10)
Baker Mayfield: 1st round pick (pick 1)
Jared Goff: 1st round pick (pick 1)
Jordan Love: 1st round pick (pick 26)
Brock Purdy: 7th round pick (pick 262)

So they should probably take one of these QBs in the first round if it is at all possible.

I think the 7th-round pick has a decent shot at going all the way this season. Bob

It shows that if you want to get to the promised land or at least get close to it you need a top QB. Giants don't have one yet.

I don't think it matters what round the QB is picked. The team needs to build around him in short order so he can have a shot at being successful. Jones has been ruined and I don't see that he will have an opportunity to be fixed here.

Two QB's remaking their careers. Maybe there's hope for DJ after all.

Baker Mayfield is one, are we counting Goff as #2?  Even though he has already been to a Super Bowl?

Goff has to be one of the more unusual QB stories.

I am. He lost his luster on a very good team that showed him the door after a middling 2019 and 2020..
