WRs excelling against the CBs
Practice No. 2 for the National team gave us early looks at some of the wide receivers against cornerbacks, and it has been a better day overall for the offense. Michigan's Roman Wilson was once again a standout in that portion of practice -- he's having a Tank Dell-like performance here that could very well propel him into the top two rounds of the draft, thanks to his quickness and impressive burst out of breaks. For the corners, it was a disappointing session for everyone not named Quinyon Mitchell. The Toledo corner had a beautiful interception in the end zone and for the second straight day is showing that his combination of speed and craftiness is too much for the offense. It's early to declare a "winner" of the Senior Bowl week, but Mitchell is the clubhouse leader. -- Miller

How high is Powers-Johnson expected to go? Most of these guys are here to improve their draft stock. Thought he was being mocked toward the end of the 1st.
I'm a little leery of guys with 3 last names, but he looks like a day 1 starter for someone on at guard.

Jackson Powers-Johnson certainly appears to be a good-looking guard. Hadn't spent much time researching him because all the websites have him listed as a center, and only a couple that say he "used to be a guard" or "can also play guard". We need a player like him to plug in between JMS and Neal. Also, with all his experience at center, having a backup to JMS is taken care of in one player
His video shows him in pass protection, I'd be curious how well he does in run blocking
Remember these kids haven't practiced in a while. The pitch and catch should settle in by the end of the week. Don't get sucked into the drama.

I wasn't referring to you who's doing a great job posting all this information. I was referring to the reports coming from there. We both know it's easy to get caught up in the moment. Maybe next year we should go.

Spending a high draft pick on someone learning to take snaps under center sounds like exactly something the Giants would do.
