When we didn't suck I'd hate for the distraction but whatever I'm all bout it. HBO does a great job regardless. Least we get it outta of the way and won't have to do it again for awhile . Popcorn ready.
It's hardly going to make the Giants much worse.
Will be interesting to see it. I'm all for it.
I wanna see the Wink tantrum. :D :D :D
I'm actually looking forward to this production!
I don't know why they don't take it through the first two weeks of Training Camp. Much more meat on the bone.

When does it end? I stopped watching many years ago; the initial seasons were raw and allowed you to witness the sausage making. Unfortunately, it's now a massive scripted production...IMO, it lost its initial charm; still, I'll watch this season because it's our Giants.

I assume it ends in June.

It's from January to July, we won't see any players on the field. We do however get to see their thought process on Barkley, and the draft.

I agree with your take Matt. The first three or four seasons of it were superb. Maybe more than that. The one they did with the Jets when Rex was the coach was superbly entertaining. The last four or five seasons have become much more canned, though. I agree that the show jumped the shark.
With that said, this new format of including the whole offseason is an interesting approach, and it suggests the producers are aware that the format needed a face lift.
For those who think it is a "distraction", as far as on field results go, I haven't really noticed any evidence that that's the case. Weren't the Rams just on it recently for the year they won the Super Bowl?
