Next, the pair form a list of the top 6 most desirable bounce-back quarterbacks this offseason, after a quarterback like Baker Mayfield has revived his career (7:53).
Bucky Brooks and Daniel Jeremiah rank the QBs who the most likely bounceback QBs (in the vein of Mayfield, Geno Smith, and Sam Darnold)
The show gives their reasoning and reviews all the QBs. For those not interested in listening/watching, their rankings are
1) Daniel Jones
2) Justin Fields
3) Malik Willis
4) Mac Jones
5) Zach Wilson
We know what DJ and Fields are, at this point.
The only one I'm intrigues by is Willis. Wasn't a fan of him as a prospect and after his early play, but he's looked better, of late.
Fields and Willis perhaps. Btw, the jury is still out on those comeback QBs. Let's see how Darnold and Mayfield come up in big moments. I think Geno has gone as far as he can go. I'm not a Darnold fan. Maybe Mayfield.

So do Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks. To me that's telling that they have him at the top of the list. These are not two fans with a podcast; both of these men have worked in the NFL. I have to think if they both feel this way, it's likely an QB needy team may share those feelings (at least out of desperation).

I have no doubt there will be interest from a handful of teams once DJ is released.
And I further wouldn't be surprised if he had another good season before his career is over. But measured in total, he will still continue to disappoint, he'll still continue to be an inconsistent enigma who has talent but can't put it all together.
And while I appreciate the opinion of "experts," they're still wrong just as often as us fans.
