The Giants win out the last two games
Mara uses those two meaningless but costly victories to justify retaining Schoen and Daboll (Mara saying the two wins are proof they are turning things around)
The Giants either pass on the top QB prospect (opting for a second-tier QB prospect or a bridge QB only)
OR
The Giants give up most of their draft capital from this and the next year's draft to move up in the draft to get a QB but then lack the draft resources to put a proper team around the QB to properly develop him (not that Schoen and Daboll know how to do that).
The team then goes on to another one or two seasons of losing, only to finally fire Schoen and Daboll and start the cycle of futility all over again with the team saddled with a QB from the prior regime who failed to properly develop. Rinse and repeat

If he is that stupid to put any stock in winning the next two games, then we as Giants fans will be doomed forever. And yes, if they retain Schoen and Daboll there is no doubt in my mind both will be gone in two years or sooner. It is just postponing the inevitable.

yup
Worst case is winning these two games. Regardless of what else happens after that. They simply cannot win these games if they want anything resembling a quick improvement.

Winner winner, chicken 🐔 dinner.
We, Giants fans, become like our forefathers:
=))
Peace!
It's happening
I don't think this game or next week would impact dabs unless the players quit.
And they have not quit on him. Which is a testament to his coaching and management skills.
If he's back, I'm pleased.
Well we are gonna win today

Let's close out the game first. I remember a certain season ending game, some 28 years ago, when the Giants went into the locker room at halftime, up by 22, against their former, beloved head coach. At the final gun, aforementioned former beloved head coach and team - 23, Giants 22.
This game is hardly over.
Peace!

Assuming they were in love with Ward or Sanders and not thinking a bridge QB wouldn't work.
Maybe it'd be a good thing. Cant get Ward or Sanders who do little next year and instead we get a Will Johnson or Mason Graham then get a QB in round 2 or trade into round 1.
Wouldn't it be a hoot if Lock starts next week and beats a better Eagles backup team and they keep lock as the bridge QB. lol
Even better, Burns tackles Barkley for a loss and short of the * Record.
Lock is reincarnated and resurrected into a Darnold Clone.

I sure hope they go with scenario one if those are my two options
The Giants lost that game to the Eagles in 2017. There was no reason to think Eli was rejuvinated based on one game.
