Wow I like Henderson a lot.

I did as well. I guess they are holding he regression of Banks against him. Plus, someone has to take the fall for reaching for Flott high in round three. You would think, along with the argument that Schoen used to justify his continued employment, he could point to the development of Phillips into an impressive rookie slot CB as justification to keep his job.
Still, Bowen did keep most of Wink's staff, so you had to think there would be adjustments, especially after a less than steller season.

I find this interesting.
1. Brian Daboll's first coaching move was to retain Jerome Henderson from Joe Judge's staff. They were assistants together with #Jets and #Browns.
2. Henderson broke from Daboll's "never criticize any players but the QB" mold when he questioned Deonte Banks' effort (that, as we all saw, was lacking).
3. Henderson was all-in on drafting RD1 CB Deonte Banks in 2023 and personally invested in his development.
4. DC Shane Bowen kept all the incumbent defensive position coaches when he was hired. Maybe now he is making his own staff?

Great, they fire the sous-cook instead of the head chef.

Just sub
Manager > Mara
Executives > GM and HC
Departments > Coordinators
The rest > coaching assistants

I am curious to see who they get to replace them.
Daboll likes to fire people instead of holding himself accountable

How would you suggest he do that?

How does a head coach hold himself accountable? Does he fire himself? If corners and safties haven't played well is it the head coaches fault or the position coaches?

Hire a president of football operations and step back
Damn wasn't Henderson one of the better coaches on the staff .... DC candidate
If Bowen is trying to create his own staff then the defense better be better in certain aspects next season
Although when healthy this season .... Same as the O-line they looked good ... with the only knock being lack of turnovers
It just gets worse and worse with this organization. There are probably a few high school coaches that would come work for Daboll and the Giants this year. Don't expect much more. Pathetic.

How would the head coach hire a president of football operations and step back?
That would be Mara and/or Tisch holding themselves accountable, no?
Maybe one or both of them had something to do with Love and/or McKinney leaving town. It's doubtful, but not impossible, that they each had at least some minor input into the decision to let each player go. Bob

Never mind, I thought you were referring to John Mara :greetings:
