How can I do this as I think Graham would be aperfect fit next to Dexter Lawrenc ?. Mike Tannanbaum in his mock draft has he Giants taking Graham at number 3
Trade down with the Raiders if they want Sanders badly, and get our second rounder this year and maybe more next year , but that leaves the Patriots and Jaguars . Pats would take Hunter or Carter . Jaguars could take Graham and my plans would be spoiled.

Raiders just traded for Geno Smith and signed him to a deal. They're out of the QB market.
I have been saying the same thing
It's possible a team a few spots may want Hunter bad enough that they give a second or 3rd to go up a few spots
No thanks to Graham, i think hes gonna be a bust

Smith is 34 years old and they are in the same position as we are . Draft a QB and sit him for a year

Based on what ? Your observations ? Are you a scout? Is it just your opinion . Most pundits disagree with you but you are certainly entitled to your opinion
With a small trade-down, I wouldn't be adverse to this pick

It has been discussed plenty on these forums, not just me either.
His effort/motor, build, and pass rush moves are concerns. He also could use some time to develop, but with his projection, will likely be rushed onto the field. There is potential there, but I am not a fan. If we are talking a top 3 pick, I don't see the value.
If they can trade back a bit, maybe, absolutely not at 3, and not with a stacked DT class.
I'd rather grab his teammate, Kenneth Grant, at 34, or if he is gone, there are other quality options.
You clearly have not watched Graham play, follow Michigan football. All you do is speak generalties and refer back to a nobody who said this.
Here is Lance Zierlein's summary from the NFL Draft. I think it is a very good description and accurate.
Strengths:
Plays with a non-stop motor and easy movement.
Gets into blockers before they can get into their action.
Compact power with instant punch and ability to extend at the point.
Lateral quickness to eliminate reach blocks and penetrate the gaps.
Former wrestler with a feel for leverage through contact.
Range and hustle feed his tackle production.
Relentless edge to edge as a rusher.
Accurate hands and slippery upper body to infiltrate the pocket.
Can cause havoc on twists and as a standing rusher.
Outstanding short-area burst to close on quarterbacks.
Weaknesses:
Built with a burly frame and stubby arms.
Lack of length creates additional work to get around wide bodies.
Not enough bull-rush to collapse guards into the pocket.
Has trouble dropping a deep anchor against double teams.
Needs to develop a go-to move to improve sack production.

As I said previously you certainly are entitled to your opinion but at least listen and read this ,
I have previously posted that a my good friend's son is a major, major financial supporter of Michigan football. He flies to every game , home and away and became golfing buddies with Coach Harbaugh . This is what he told me and it came from Harbaugh himself , " Mason Graham has the ability to have an effect on a teams defense in the same manner as Aidan Hutchinson had ." This is not my words but the words of his coach 2 years ago.
So, as I previously said , you certainly are entitled to your opinion but I have to listen to Harbaugh's opinion over yours .

Michigan's 2023 National Championship was won primarily because of the defensive kids graduating this year more so than offensive iids who graduated last year. Graham is a beast.

Why play games if you really like the player. Graham is worth the third pick and fills a need. If he's there and you really want him you take him. You start trading around and hoping that the guy you really want falls to you doesn't have a happy ending. Trading down only works when you feel no one is worthy of the tied pick or you feel there are enough players you want that you'll get one if you trade out. IMHO is the ideal pick for the Giants unless Ward falls to them. He fills a need and gives us a chance of having a really good defense. Other than Ward there is no one that fits as well.

I think Graham is worth the 3rd pick and he is who I want .... But I do think the general consensus is Hunter is worth the 3rd pick and and Carter is as well ... some may say he's the best
I think it's close between Hunter , Carter and Graham
But if you could go back a few slots to get an extra pick I think you take the trade
Worse case scenario is you don't get Graham but you still get Carter or Hunter
I think going back a few spots is the smartest thing Joe can do
That's just me though
Every mock draft I've done so far has a really good DT option in round 2 where we pick. That's the only reason I personally put graham a hair behind Hunter and Carter at pick #3.

That is why you cannot try to get too cute. If Graham is their guy, have to take him at 3 and not risk it. If they would be just as happy getting Graham or 3 other players, then you can trade down.

And you need a team willing to make the move up too. Perhaps Hunter would entice such a move but if so I'd bet the Giants would feel similarly and rather just take him.
Unlikely to happen for two simple reasons.
Positional value and a cost controlled 5 year contract. Since Schoen has been here he's only selected players in the top tier of positional value in the 1st round. Wrs, Edge, tackles, corners, and Qbs make up that top tier. With two players in that top tier graded higher than Graham by almost everyone and considered generational talents (not by me but in general) you can almost bank on Schoen drafting one of them. Not to mention this class is absolutely stacked at DT and you can almost guarentee that a really good/great DT will be there at the top of the 2nd while the same can't be said about WR, CB, or even linebacker. GMs also love to have those top tier guys on cost controlled contracts out of the draft, and willing to spend on that 2nd tier in free agency ie DT, guard, MLB, and Safety etc. Schoen has been willing to draft those tier two guys in the 2nd and beyond, just not the 1st to this point.
So in my opinion, a lot of things would have to go wrong on draft night for this to become a reality.
