He's certainly polished.

That's what the beat reporters are saying as well.

Let's see him at the post game podium
That was an awesome interview, I'm really impressed with him. I never knew he was so well spoken, I'm really happy he is here with the Giants.

I'll say this -- my excitement level re: Russ has gone up after listening to his presser in full.
I just like the detail he went into about the WRs, how to use them, the "aggressive nature" Daboll has to calling plays + pass concepts (and how excited Russ is to read those out)
He just knows how to play the position from the shoulder up so much better than what the Giants have had. Pre snap and post snap.

I knew Wilson's wife was a celebrity in her own right, but I didn't know she was this big

At this point in his life Russ is a better talker than player but he is still a better player than DJ or Lock. He & Jameis raise our floor from abysmal to a somewhere below average. How far below average remains to be seen.

My only concern is a point raised by the Chris B ("The Giants Insider")
The last three teams seemed happy to part ways with Wilson, and there were reports of either locker room issues or issues with at least some of the coaching staff.

He's here for the one year unless they win 9+ with him at the helm. They will draft a QB within the first three rounds to develop. Hand him the reins in year 2 with Winston as backup in year two of his contract. That's how I see their thinking/plan. It will be a very good room for a developing QB.
I am always going to post information, both good AND bad. I have to say, the montage blending Wilson's speeches from the Seahawks, Broncos, Steelers, and Giants is harsh and impactful.

He's a bridge QB who knows how to win and prepare for games. He's on a one year contract. Hopefully he can help them win some games and mentor the QB the Giants draft this year. There are no other expectations.
I loved Wilson when he came to the Badgers for one season.
I do not have high hopes but I do feel the Giants win 5-7 more games last year if he was their QB
So who knows

They lost 9 games by one score or less. 5 games by 5 points or less.
I feel like Wilson has another good year left in him.
Give me the polish over "it's on me" "I'm gonna have to look at the tape"
At around 16mil a year for 3 QBs, we are finally paying the QB what they are worth.
It's a step in the right direction.
