Has he signed with anyone ? If not why aren't we on him ? He graded out very well last year I believe with the Jaguars , and at least for one year he would be a stabilizer at guards for us .
Linked to the Ravens but not signed. He earned $10.5m cash with a similar cap charge. After signing Wilson we already need to look at restructures. It would be hard to fit him in. We have a few potential cuts (including Gano, RNR and some of the 2022 draftees) if we want to create room but is that worth it for a guy entering season 12? 🤷🏻
Greg Roten, Neal, Kubas, and a draft pick likely compete for RG.
I would have preferred to use the Wilson money on him to be honest. And rolled with Winston until Rookie 1st rounder was ready. But maybe they actually think Neal can move over (if so what the hell took so long then?) or they plan on using their 2nd round pick on the best guard available.
