Title: A look back at the accuracy of draft pundits
Post by: MightyGiants on March 28, 2025, 10:12:35 AM
But how accurate are the pundits one month out? It's a question we started asking ourselves, and there's only one way to find out: by reviewing their work. So here's a look at what the seven services we review (Pro Football Network, PFF, CBS' Chris Trapasso, The Draft Scout, ESPN, The Athletic's Dane Brugler and Walter Football) said about the last two draft classes.

Even blind pigs occasionally find a few acorns. lol

Seriously, I believe the "science" of experts predicting the first round has improved notably over my lifetime.

Nice post, but IMO it's only of note to us because it shows there's reason to hope a guy or two tagged for the 1st round might fall to day two. Holding Pick 34, we can easily (and cheaply) trade up to Pick 33 (if necessary) to ensure getting someone whom the Giants strongly believe should not have fallen.
