I would trade a kings ransom and a half, just to have Roseman be our GM. I like Schoen but this guy is in a league of his own.
The Eagles' formula for success: Draft (or sign/trade) good players. Lock them up early rather than later, so they sign for effectively less money (they exchange dollars for early job security). Finally, have one of the best medical staffs in the league, so players are available to play more.

They also are not afraid to admit mistakes, move on, and pivot as needed.

Rich: Yeah, well, note that without number one (draft good players) none of the other stuff works at all.
This was the basis of my post two days ago giving three options for getting the most out of Daboll (all of which were to draft better players).
Is Roseman just lucky, or are his scouts just better? I don't know, but I DO know the Giants APPEAR to be a lot less lucky and APPEAR to have in inferior roster of scouts. The only other alternative is that their management stinks, or doesn't pay attention to the scouts, or both.

As Giants fans, we have seen our GMs with Super Bowl rings (George Young and Jerry Reese) start strong and peter out as their careers extended with the Giants. Howie Roseman appears to be the opposite. The longer he has been the Eagles' GM, the better he has gotten.

Dear Philly-
To whoever stole my car last night, I'll make a deal with you....
Bring back my car and I won't press charges, or when I find you today, it's going to be what it's going to be.
Take it or leave it my guy.
