Can anyon read the routes by focusing only on the various ways he swings his arms before the break each time?
My thought was...that he is a terrific route runner. I don't know how well the fakes work, but he's so twitchy and fast that I don't think it matters if a defender thinks he's got a "tell"
One of the things I learned by listening to McCord discuss faking out the defense, he said that he would look at a presumed receiver, but tracking the guy he plans to throw to through his periphery or looking sideways with his helmet pointed towards the decoy. I had never heard that before, and am one of the biggest critics of a QB who stares in the direction he's going to throw. Makes me wonder if that's simply a fake out move that all QBs use, or if that's unique to McCord :-??

I wondered something similar, but with his sounds rather than his arms.
I wonder if he can actually run past the sticks this season before catching the pass.
He gets an A for effort at least...
That's about his hilite reel for his career.

If you knew your qb refused to throw beyond 6 yards why would you ever run deeper than that? Until you get a new qb that is.
