Do you guys see Daboll playing Wilson and the starters for any games being we have a tendency to start the season slowly?...the reason I ask is we all k ow we will see a different Daboll this year since he's on a very hot seat. Or is he....
Also how much will Dart play in pre season?
Considering Wilson is new, I would think he will play a few quarters in the preseason so he and his teammates can get more familiar with each other.

Good point.
How do you envision the rest of the preseason plays out in terms of starters and also our (3) QBs?

It's tough to say. If I had to guess, Winston and Dart would split the rest. If Dart looks further along, Dart might get more than Winston.
I think it will depend on how they look in camp, and more importantly, how they look in inter-team.
practices. If Wilson looks good, then he could get less. If Dart looks good, he could get more.
If Winston plays well enough to create a QB controversy (or Wilson plays poorly) all bets are off
The first point of assessment for me will be if Daboll has the team ready to play for the first game. He has a lot of good qualities, but he's been poor at fielding a team ready to compete for game 1, IMO.

I couldn't agree more. This has been one of my greatest frustrations with coach Daboll. I hope he plays starters more this preseason
I just hope the starting OL (AT, JMS, GVR, Eleumenor and Runyan) stays put in their positions, Neal gets every rep possible at right guard to see how that looks, and starters play a bit more.
I want to see them play hard, and play ready week 1
I would play Wilson hard this preseason until he proves he can move this offense consistently down the field. No glad handling for any starter. They need live reps in games. Every season, they look horrible for games 1-4. I want them to go back to Parcells belief that you need to win preseason games to set a tone for the regular season.
I would give each of them a start to halftime. I'd start with Winston, then Wilson, then Dart. Tommy to do cleanups.
I think Wilson should get plenty. It's not just about getting him ready. It's about getting the rest of the offense used to him. Most of them have never played a game with him in their lives.
I would think Wilson gets about half the total preseason snaps and Dart and Winston get most of the rest.
I'm not sure Tommy D will even be a Giant (even on the PS) once the season starts. When you're carrying three QBs on the active roster your need for practice squad QBs goes down and your need for other position players in the practice squad (since you now have one less on the main roster) goes up. I get having him around for all of camp and maybe some of the preseason, but I don't know why they'd bother with him even if he clears waivers. What would be the point?

Interesting on Tommy D

If I were the Giants, I would be tempted to try to move Devito for a conditional day 3 pick. There are only so many snaps to go around, and while two of the QBs are veterans, they are all new to the system and team, so all three will need snaps to prepare for the season (and to be evaluated). I don't see how they give their primary 3 the snaps they need and still have snaps for Devito.
I just hope he plays whoever he thinks are going to be his starters, at every position.
The Giants have been totally unprepared on opening day for the past 3 years and it has set the tone for a lousy season.
That needs to be fixed.
