Title: Which draft picks start in 2025? 2026?
Post by: MightyGiants on April 30, 2025, 08:18:37 AM
You have

Carter
Dart
Alexander
Skattebo
Mbow
Fidone
Black

Of those picks, who starts in 2025?   Who starts in 2026?

The reason I asked was that I was listening to a Sharp Football podcast grading drafts, and the drafts that are really good have four potential starters either this year or next

Carter will be starting right away in some shape or form. If not, he will be on the field enough to where the start itself is irrelevant.

I imagine Alexander will be a starter by the end of the season.

Mbow I can see starting by end of season, or 2026

Dart 2026 probably

Skattebo will probably be 1b to Tracy 1a and will have a significant role I'm sure.

Rich - start with n their own exclusively or rotate in as a starter?  I ask because several positions use a rotational system to keep bodies fresh.  I think of all of them as starters in some way.

Based on that, I'd say Carter, Skatteboo and Mbow in 2025 with an additional Dart in 2026.

The way they were grading, I believe the standard would be that they are listed as or are the starter.  I appreciate the fuzzy area when it comes to rotational players that may log as many snaps as some of the starters, but for the purpose of this exercise, I will go with starters.  Although other thoughts are always welcomed

Ok so purposes of depth chart, I say Carter and Mbow in 2025 and Dart in 2026.

That's my guess, as well....except I think Alexander gets equal snaps sooner rather than later.

Carter on day 1 (obviously)
Skattebo on day 1
Alexander has a good shot at starting day 1, because they want to take pressure of Dex as early as possible IMO

Dart and Mbow will get starting time by mid-December/early January IMO

Fidone and Black might be starting next year or the year after. All depends on injuries. Also, if Banks is struggling and Black is wowing in practice, Black might get some reps earlier than expected
