I didn't realize MetLife was so big (compared to other NFL venues)

And should top the list as the worst ..most uninspired function over form venues. God awful home of two franchises.

A monument to compromise (and how architectural drawings can look much better than the real thing). It was neither the futuristic glass and chrome the Jets wanted nor the retro look the Giants wanted. Not only is it ugly, it's also hard and takes longer to get in and out of than the old stadium
Say what you want about Jerry Jones, but the man knew how to build a great stadium.
Crazy that 10+ college stadiums have more capacity than the NFL stadiums.

Two different customers, defining their own unique configurations, through interchangeable sub-systematic requirements, within a hard-defined system architecture, is not only costly in its own right, but more-so in compromising critical details in order to convert "Configuration A" (i.e. Giants) to "Configuration B" (i.e. Jets) to "Configuration X" (i.e. non-NFL events) all within a constrained cost and schedule! It shall be known as "The Sardine Can" forever more!
All you Project Managers out there have pulled your hair out managing these types of projects before!
I miss Giants Stadium!
Peace!
The best NFL stadium bar none for me is SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The design is gorgeous, the access to all the different food, drink, merchandise items is great. Fresh air comes in from the Pacific between the stadium and roof with so much view outside.

Attended my first game there last season when the Saints were in town to play the Chargers. I took my grandson, (a huge Charger fan), and my SiL. Agree with everything you say about SoFi. Just a great place to watch a game, and the food choices are amazing.

This, I didn't even attend any games last year solely because of the parking lots

I hear you. I can remember when Ed, Brian, and I would walk from the parking lot to the stadium. It was quite a trek. It involved climbing stairs to go over roadways and crossing busy roads (with the help of their security people acting as crossing guards). There is nothing about the new stadium that screams upgrade or user-friendly to the average fan (not willing to pay a small fortune for a premium experience)
Compromise.
Valuable ..in others areas .but the Giants fan experience generally has been poor.
Yankee Stadium .some seats were awesome .others not..Yale Bowl..Shea..then the Meadowlands...which was hardly a great venue..some great memories despite
Then MetLife. Omg..what a turd they dropped .the Vikings home is amazing.
In it's design and fan fun. We get an oversized AC unit

Last time I went, I walked through the mall to that side tunnel, what a mess

SoFi is great, if you get a chance try out the Intuit Dome, it is an experience. Best arena I've ever been in!
