I like the idea, probably not as much as Jordan Mailata should. He was snubbed by the Pro Bowl this year but had PFF's highest evaluation of the year for OL.
I don't get it, if you do this award then theoretically you'd have to do it for every position. Lockdown secondary player, best dlineman, best pass rusher, best rusher, best hands etc. Give it a year, every position will be asking for their own.
