Quote from: sooners56 on January 15, 2024, 11:09:41 PMBaker Mayfield and the Bucs are rolling the Eagles! Love itQuite a success story. Turned his career around.
Quote from: Jclayton92 on January 15, 2024, 08:18:12 PMYeah I think Daboll is getting railroaded. If it's all true, it's disturbing. There's a degree of professionalism that's expected in this leadership position. There's a difference from being a strong minded, results oriented HC, that clearly establishes expectations from one that demotivates and assigns blame to deflect on his own inadequacies. Giving a personality like that another chance is career suicide for Schoen.
Quote from: DaveBrown74 on January 15, 2024, 02:02:50 PMThe Dallas D looked woefully unprepared last night. I have no reason to question Quinn's professionalism in general, but I wonder if all the head coaching opportunity stuff distracted him a little this past week. Imagine all the texts, calls, and person emails he has received regarding the subject of his next job in the last 10 days or so. Even the most dedicated, diligent person might have found it a struggle to remain 100% focused on nothing but the Packers all week.In a non—interference rule but anything goes...Much more so than Tommy DeVito, right?

Quote from: MightyGiants on January 15, 2024, 01:39:19 PMThey raved about the man. They praised his character, leadership and how he developed nobodies into serviceable NFL linemenMaybe he can save Neal and DJ's career while going so.
Quote from: DaveBrown74 on January 15, 2024, 11:09:23 AMTo be fair, if we were having 12 win seasons here we'd have sky high expectations too. I wouldn't really call that arrogance, per se. It's just optimism and confidence. Our friend Tomeee would say in the parking lot before and after another bitter loss, "I would be happy to have meaningful games in December".
Hell, you had some here calling for a "special season" in 2023 because Jones looked crisp on his throws in 7 on 7 drills in early August and they had a good first quarter series against the Panthers in a preseason game. Imagine what it would be like around here if we won the division and had the two seed in the NFC.
Quote from: TDToomer on January 15, 2024, 11:46:13 AMWhy are the Cowboys the only team with such a post mortem after a playoff loss? What do Stan Kroenke, Jimmy Haslim and Stephen Ross do now? How are the proceeding with their franchises? It may have slipped below the radar and few may know that it's your job to pick apart the OP of threads and weak posts. Just know that your efforts have not gone unnoticed and your efforts are commendable. Keep up the good work!
Quote from: T200 on January 15, 2024, 09:27:47 AMBarry who? He gets an asterisk. But, can Jimmy Johnson do the bossa nova, the dance of love?
Jimmy Johnson built that team into a fine-tuned championship machine. The only thing that was going to stop them from winning that season was a major injury. Switzer was the elf on the shelf.
Quote from: jimc on January 15, 2024, 07:23:08 AMHow sad that we (including myself if it's the Eagles) are relegated to revel in the misfortune of others.Eagles fans are worse than Dallas fans. I revel in Eagle losses.
