I know hw was a November pick up last year by the Cards but he added to the Cards to go along with James Conner. He might be someone to consider as a backup RB behind Singletary. I know that Schoen and Daboll want to get younger but right now Gray and Tracy are the backups
Quote from: Jclayton92 on August 27, 2024, 04:43:47 PMDown from the 74 last year we now have 5.

Jones, Thomas, Lawrence, Okereke, and Kreiter?
Quote from: expatriot on August 27, 2024, 11:46:51 AMI love the optimism year after year. I sadly, (again) don't see a winning team.

@JustinPenik
Giants WR's left on the roster
Nabers
Robinson
Hyatt
Slayton
McKenzie
Olszewski (hurt?)
Ford-Wheaton
Kinda feels like they want to sign somebody not in the building right now because it's interesting to cut both Robinson and Hodgin

Quote from: Philosophers on August 27, 2024, 09:44:07 AMI will tell you something even more troubling. If it is true the Giants preferred Iggy Ekwonu instead of Neal and would have drafted him, he has also been a subpar/quasi-bust OL.
What does that say about the Giants ability to evaluate OL prospects?
Quote from: EDjohnst1981 on August 26, 2024, 05:56:56 AMWow, that's some claim, Bob!
Let's hope you're correct.
Quote from: H-Town G-Fan on August 26, 2024, 06:39:24 PMNo player is perfect. The best around will have negative performances, whether that be individual snaps, games, or even seasons (at least "down" seasons by their own measure). They are humans. Bad players aren't bad because they're incapable of playing well, they're bad because their bad play ultimately eclipses the good. Assuredly, everyone in the NFL is in the microscopic percentile of athletes in the world--they did not get there by being "bad" at any point prior to that. But the margin for error in the NFL is razor-thin and it cuts away, revealing weaknesses (whether physical or mental). Physical tools will get you to the NFL; mental tools will help you last in the NFL. I fear Jones lacks in the latter, which is why positive consistency is lacking.
